An Asset to the Community

The Lincoln Park Business Group (LPBG) works hard to promote development, awareness, community action, and attract business to the Lincoln Park area. Built by members of the surrounding community from both businesses and organizations. LPBG promotes an annual Walleye Fishing Tournament that attracts business to the area, it's also active in getting the needs of the community in front of the city council and properly represented.

A Powerful Tool for LPBG

Northern Voyageur designed and provides the ongoing development of the LPBG website using the Drupal platform. The main objectives of the site are to promote the upcoming activities in the area and provide a directory for its members.

Community Events

The LPBG website offers an easy to update upcoming list of events that automatically sorts by event date and promotes the next few events on the home page. These events can be easily be added by the LPBG staff with no need to know HTML or other yucky computer terms.

Member Directory

Each member has a personal page that sports an integrated Google Map, Location, Address, Type of Business, and link to a website if available. Again, LPBG staff can easily add/update/delete members from this list without any knowledge of the black arts in web trickery. If that wasn't enough, the website offers a Google map of all the member businesses in the area, dynamically generated from it's member list. This is great stuff.
