The Project

Duluth Pack came to Northern Voyageur, Inc. looking to accomplish more with their ecommerce site. Their goals were increased site visitors, improved sales metrics, and leveraged advanced marketing techniques.

Northern Voyageur, Inc. worked with Duluth Pack on an aggressive schedule to go live with a Magento eCommerce shop in only a few short months. The goal was to launch the new site with enough time to work out any bugs before the busy holiday season hit.

Great Plains Integration

Duluth Pack leverages great plains to help them keep track of accounting, manufacturing, and processing orders. They wanted to have order download automatically from Magento into Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.

This was accomplished by creating a very sophisticated view in the Magento MySQL database and using a Great Plains module called SmartConnect to query the view. This excellent set up allows Duluth Pack to download the orders directly into Great Plains and then mark the orders as complete in Magento. This saves countless hours and mistakes of entering orders from one system into another.
