Giving Back

Cloquet Gospel Tabernacle (CGT) was interested in offering an online experience and information to their visitors. CGT is a fairly large church in Cloquet that offers contemporary praise and worship, relevant teaching, outstanding children's programs, and many opportunities for individuals to connect and make lasting friendships.

Northern Voyageur, Inc. (NV) saw a chance to give back and help CGT meet its goals of offering information on events, messages, and general communication to its members. Together they planned a website built on Drupal that offers the staff at CGT the ability to update the website themselves. This includes changing the front page information, uploading the weekly messages in MP3 format, adding events to their calendar.

Features to watch:

• Flash based audio player for the weekly sermons
• An online catalog of sermons going back several years
• An embedded Google calendar

NV also helped CGT set up and maintain Google Apps for their domain, this allows CGT to have several email accounts with more than enough storage and awesome spam filtering based on the proven technology of Gmail.
